CHALLENGES AUSTRALIA FACES
Unemployment is the leading issue Australia; with 5% of its population unemployed, many Australians also face the struggle of the cost of living. Considering the size of family, cost of living, individual preferences, and choice of accommodation are among the biggest factors that affect their cost of living and directly affect their healthcare bill. Australians spend from $35,000 to $40,000 yearly (per person) and up to 30% of their salary is spent on the housing rent, which slowly decreases after one has lived there for several years. Overall, Australians spend around $500 AUD a week, which includes groceries, rent, clothes, utilities, transportation, etc. A survey issued in April 0f 2018 showed 64% of thousands of participants who took it viewed Australia's levels of immigration too high. Countless Australians say multiculturalism has caused division within the nation and dangerous extremism. For example, unemployment is an effect of rising immigration levels. However, supporters of multiculturalism, most who are university educated, state it has enriched all of Australians' lives socially and economically.
